Rajasthan reels under cold wave

Jaipur, January 13 dmanewsdesk:  Cold conditions continued to prevail in parts of Rajasthan with Chittorgarh recording the lowest temperature of 1.7 degrees Celsius, a MeT department spokesperson said on Thursday.

Bhilwara recorded a minimum temperature of 2.3 degrees Celsius followed by 2.4 deg C in Fatehpur, 2.7 deg C in Sikar, 3.9 deg C in Bundi, 4 deg C each in Karauli and Anta, 4.4 deg C in Banasthali, 4.7 deg C in Tonk, 4.9 deg C in Dabok, 5 deg C in Eranpura road, and 5.2 deg C each in Ajmer, Alwar and Sawai Madhopur.

Jaipur recorded 5.5 degrees Celsius on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, the spokesperson said.

Most places across the state recorded a minimum temperature below 10 degrees Celsius, he said.

Maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded between 12 and 22 degrees Celsius at several places, he said.
