Maharashtra tourism extends ‘videography contest’ till 15th March
Mumbai February 24 dmanewsdesk: After receiving an overwhelming response from the travel enthusiasts, the State Govt.’s Tourism department, has decided to extend the ‘Videography contest’, which began on January 15. For the people who missed participating in the contest earlier, can send in their entries till 15th March 2021.
With this contest, the Maharashtra Tourism aims at showcasing the natural beauty, culture, and heritage of Maharashtra to encourage tourists to visit the State, which is home to several magnificent destinations.
One can showcase his or her videography skills simply by capturing small snippets from a camera or a smartphone on one of the themes – Forts, Caves, Wildlife, Beaches, Major religious places, Heritage structures and unexplored places of Maharashtra.
Anybody from an amateur, a hobbyist, an aspiring videographer to a professional irrespective of their age or geographical location can enter the contest without paying any fee. Each selected video will be rewarded with INR 2,000.
