Among the parties that were represented at the meeting, which was followed by dinner, were the DMK, NCP, JD(U), BRS, CPI(M), CPI, AAP, MDMK, KC, TMC, RSP, RJD, NC, IUML, VCK, SP and JMM.

09:21 AM: Gangster-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Khalid Azim alias Ashraf will be produced in a Prayagraj court today in connection with the 2006 kidnapping of Umesh Pal, a witness in the BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case, who was killed last month in an attack allegedly orchestrated by the two. The verdict is also likely to be pronounced during the day.
08:30 AM: The Madras High Court is likely to pronounce today its verdict on pleas filed by ousted leaders of AIADMK against AIADMK general council meeting and general secretary election. So far, only Edappadi K Palaniswami has filed a nomination for the general secretary post, along with nearly 200 party members filing nominations in his name.
