One new COVID-19 case in Andamans

Port Blair, May 10 dmanewsdesk:  One new COVID-19 case was reported in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, taking the Union territory’s caseload to 10,039, a health bulletin said on Tuesday.

There are now three active cases in the archipelago, while 9,907 people have recovered from the disease thus far, including one in the last 24 hours.

A total of 129 people have succumbed to the infection to date.

The administration has thus far tested over 7.27 lakh samples for COVID-19, and fully vaccinated 3.36 lakh people.
