Road caves in under Nawada metro station
New Delhi, September 23 dmanewsdesk: A portion of a road under the Nawada metro station in west Delhi caved in on Thursday, disrupting traffic movement along the stretch, police said.
Taking to Twitter, the Delhi Traffic Police alerted commuters about the closure of the specific road and urged them to avoid the route.
“Road sink under Nawada metro station Najafgarh Road in carriageway from Najafgarh to Tilak Nagar causing pit of 12/4 ft. Road closed by barricading. Diversion given from pillar no. 740. Please avoid using this route,” the Delhi Traffic police tweeted.
Earlier in July, a portion of a road under the IIT-Delhi flyover had caved in following heavy rains in the national capital.
