Bhatkal in Goa
In Panaji, NIA officials arrested Indian Mujahidin terror suspect Yasin Bhatkal Monday showed investigators around the places and areas in Goa which he had surveyed as potential terror targets and those used as safe houses.
The Bhatkal visit had been kept top secret told by top police source and the places where the NIA officials were taken to by Bhatkal were the German bakery in Anjuna and Chapora, both coastal areas in north Goa, popular for its presence of foreign tourists.
In Pune, NIA officials landed on Sunday with bhatkal who were the probing of German Bakery blasts . Anjuna, Chapora and other coastal areas in the north were taken by NIA officials. They requested with senior police official for invisibility.
The authority police i.e. the superintendent of police and deputy superintendent of police rank were only the police involved in escorting Bhatkal during the visit.
Police interrogated with him about which places he had been chosen as potential places for terror strikes and other safe houses he had used during his recce in Goa as well as other states in India,” the officer said.
Over 140 deaths in terror-strikes the person responsible for all death was mujahedeen and he was also the architects of the 2010 German bakery blasts Planned in Pune.
Recently he was arrested on the India-Nepal border
